Jerusalem Elementary School News
Friday the 13th may be consider bad luck to some, but for the Jet staff, it was an opportunity to come together before the school day started and decorate/paint rocks to be displayed in their classroom, garden, or outside the school. The Wellness Committee organized the activity as a way to continue to build our culture and strengthen the bond we have with each other.
Mr. Allen brought some winter time fun to recess the last few days. While the snow has kept us out for many days in January, it has made for some great sledding hills in our playground.

We are excited to meet our future Jets!
The Jolly Old Elf took time from his busy schedule to see our Jets off on vacation.
The snow/cold has arrived and with them are some changes to students at recess. Please know that we monitor wind chills very closely and will ensure students do not go outside when wind chills or air temps reach -10 or below. Also, if students wish to play in the snow (playground & hill), they need to have their snow pants and boots on otherwise they will be on the blacktop.
